It was horrible experience to have phone with the agent. she didn’t let me finish my sentence, just keeps repeat herself. Very impatient, horrible service. I hope city can do something to improve that.

The number displayed on the website is note in service. For a city website please do something better than that.

It's so ridiculous that the employees even have jobs. It's disappointing to call, email, visit in person and employees lack the knowledge, professionalism and patience to help you with what you need and they're the experts. I hope these services improve soon because it does nothing for our communities. Sad.

I have to call ever so often to speak with customer service. I always wait more than 30 minutes on hold just to speak with a rude person who seems like they don't want to work there. They seem miserable.

Hi Rolf, the Office of Property Assessment recently sent Philadelphia property owners notices about their 2020 assessments. This is not a bill. (The Department of Revenue mails out Real Estate bills each December. They are separate from the office that sets the value of your property.) If you do not believe the assessment is accurate, instructions to appeal came with the letter. Or visit https://www.phila.gov/OPA/Assessments/Pages/default.aspx for have more information about how to appeal.
absolutely.
Municipal building Tax refund unit. You need a refund petition.
Yes! Keep in mind that paying with a credit or debit card there will be additional service fees. We encourage people to pay their Real Estate Tax bill using eCheck, it's free and convenient. To pay with eCheck, you'll need an email address, your bank account number and the bank's routing number.
