Decided to randomly select a place to hike with my daughter and grandson, and it was a great choice. Such a peaceful beautiful forest.

So many trails red, blue, white, yellow, orange & pink oh my ππ no bears, but that's fineβπ½The floor of the trails vary as you go from rocky, flat, dirty & muddy, dry or wet terrain depends on weather conditions*** The trails goes deep in the Forrest where you have an opportunity to leave traffic, the rat race, 9-5 & part-time behind for the moment. If your present in the now moment while hiking you can feel lost on the journey but the colored trails marks painted on the trees will keep u on the path. Nature has a way of putting things in perspective. Sit on a rock to ground yourself. Put ur back against a tree if your too shy to hug a tree, it's healing. Allow the Forrest to restore your faith in U. Most importantly go with enough time to get off the trail before dark. Stay safe bring a mask you may encounter other hikers, runners, & families. LEAVE NO TRACE!! NO TRASH LEFT BEHIND βπ½βπ½βπ½

I love hiking this trail. There are enough hills to get your heart rate up, itβs scenic and I always see deer and other wildlife.

It's possible to do approximately 11 miles out and back from Jerusalem Mills going north on the White Trail. Yesterday, however, it wasn't possible to cross the stream because the water was so high, so limited to about 4 miles.
