I use to come to the people’s emergency center about 20 years ago. I received my GED and the staff were very helpful and were there for my needs. I recommend this place for young families trying to start over fresh and on a good path.

I volunteer here. They serve warm meals along with dessert. Food is given away on Saturdays. The staff and volunteers are friendly. I volunteered one Saturday and have been there ever since.

You have to go with all your children to 1430 Cherry Street..they are the ones to place you in a shelter
