My most recent meal at the Village Inn was the best I've ever had there, and I've eaten there 50 or more times over the past 25 years . Interestingly, I think this was the first time no one in my family ordered the duck, which just goes to show the the new menu is well chosen. I had a lamb rack special that was absolutely delicious, with a lovely presentation worthy of the white table cloths they use in the beautiful dining room. The duck pie and the fettuccine my parents had were also delicious. I can only assume the steak my brother had was as well because of how quickly he ate it. The sauces were perfect and everything was well seasoned. Service was friendly, but a bit slow. I can only imagine how hard it is to get help in Belgrade right now of all times, so I give a pass on this. It would have been nice to have a pitcher of water for the table, though. All in all, I'm looking forward to continuing to dine at the Village Inn in the coming years, and I hope the chef they've got right now sticks around!

We didn't stay at the Inn but had dinner, and it was outstanding to say the least. The pickles green bean appetizer was very pleasant, I had the glazed pork chop with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. My wife had the flounder with blanch spinach and flat grit cakes. Then the fabulous deserts, lemon cream layered cake and a salted Carmel cheese cake. What an incredible experience we had and highly recommend a visit to this majestic restaurant.

I had a delicious meal of dilly beans, crab cakes with three dipping sauces, greens and rice pilaf! Heavenly! The chocolate cake was divine- so moist! I highly recommend The Village Inn!
