Why does your website have a FREE alignment check if you “can’t do it unless you pay for the full alignment”. How am I supposed to know that I need an alignment if I have to pay before knowing for sure. Should have read the previous reviews before showing up to my fake appointment. Be careful. Update: They can’t even do a tire rotation correct they put too much weight on my tires.

Took it up there for a small hole on a sunday and he said “it’s out of policy” “buy a new one” i take it to my hispanic shop owner and he says “15$ i get it done.” Nuff said

Update Aug 22 - I received an email asking if anyone had contacted me from corporate yet about the situation, I hadn't so I replied no. This morning I get a email, stating that I've 'been getting multiple calls & voicemails from multiple people & I won't return calls'. Oh really? I can show my call history - I have 1 call and 1 voicemail that is *not happy* with me filing a complaint, & I find out my personal contact info went to folks it wasn't supposed to. I explained that considering I don't work here, It's not my job to be making calls to fix the stores problems, especially when I've already went over the issue a few times now, and explained in store day of. Someone is a liar to say I've been contacted "multiple times" The store manager was upset I didn't ask for him day of. If someone just told you "I'm going to charge you anything I want/do what work I want" after I just said NO...WHY would I stay to have work done in that shop that I can't trust? That would be taking a financial risk yes? But you don't understand why i'd say that feels like a con artist situation, & find that offensive? Um. That IS a con? False advertising to get someone to come in and then charge them a price they were not told about? That's tricking someone. And if he KNEW? That's a conartist. But manager says the employee was "trying to help the store" because "free services don't get us paid". YIKES? Well if you can't financially handle offering those services, maybe don't offer them? Or change it? Instead of giving customers a problem for singing up for what is offered on your website? Mr. Mocny as well as the store manager, and the employee all gave me different stories. I offered to send the exact link used to scheduled my appointment, he declined, said it didn't exist, (though the manager DOES know it exists?) & instead blamed me for "being on a fake website" like I'm so stupid I don't know what the pepboys URL looks like? That conversation went so poorly I eventually hung up as there's no point in attempting conversation with an ego hurt man who's unwilling to listen because they're more focused on trying to prove you wrong. Shocker,I wasn't. He said I filed multiple complaints? No, 1, & I answered the email. Lie. Mr. Mocny was fine with the angry voicemail & blamed me for it saying it was because I called the employee and store "trash" and "disgusting" etc so I should expect that? Oh? - again, my review is above,I said the situation is disgusting, never said the store itself or commented on the man personally. Mr. Mocny has the same telling the truth problem the employee does. I'm more than comfortable calling Mr. Mocny a flat out liar, particularly for trying to embellish the story more. Very pathetic attempt to discredit me on his part. This mornings experience made me think even lower of the pepboys brand and I frankly didn't think that were even possible. So thanks to everyone for proving and solidifying my point. On that note, I very much do stand by my original review & the fact that this store will do anything possible to get paid, dishonest or not. This is the most poorly handled customer service situation, and how it was handled should embarrass everyone involved. Thank you for the lovely reminder how fragile the male ego really is when it's a woman bringing something to your attention (because no, I don't think this would have happened if I were a man). I'll stick to my shops that don't do the misogynistic "stupid women don't know bout cars" trope. I'm sorry me not falling for the con was more upsetting to y'all then male employees lying to my face repeatedly, corporate and managers literally making things up that never happened despite everything being in writing and attempting to gaslight me on it (oh yes I went there.gaslight is the word) and not caring if they con a woman out of money as long as it's for the good of the business. It's a cute little old fashioned 'good ole boys club' :) you're upset I spoke up about it, not that it happened. let's be honest boys. 0/10
