I've been shopping here for over 10 years. The owner isn't too talkative, but very helpful and kind. He goes out of his way for you when you're searching for something specific. Great prices as well! Additionally, I look for my Asian produce here first because all/most of his produce are from local farmers. Highly recommended store.

I don't know about checks but they do accept debit card, credit card and cash. I've used all that except for writing checks.
