Great food, great service. Handmade noodles, tasty sauces...unlike anything else in the Madison area. Just be warned that dine-in orders are still being served in to-go packages, which I still can't get used to and feel incredibly wasteful. They do offer plates for individual serving though, which is nice. What makes this a four-star instead of a five-star review is the fact that I stopped in for carryout yesterday and the package was easily a third smaller/lighter than what we received a little over a week ago. So be warned that the food inflation is striking HARD here. But if you can get past all that, the food really is amazing.

Outstanding family-run Chinese restaurant hidden in downtown Middleton. Their homemade noodles are perhaps the best I've ever tasted. The prices may initially seem on the higher end, but the portion sizes are very generous. Just stop your Google search for "Chinese restaurants near me" and go to Taigu.

My partner and I have been looking for a restaurant that meets our expectations of quality for over two years, and we finally found the place. Taigu has incredible food. It was fresh, had depth of flavor, and was actually spicy! The noodles and dumplings looked and tasted handmade. The only item I would skip the next time we order is the rangoons. Everything else tasted wonderful, and the portions were huge! Our takeout lasted for 4 separate meals. I can't wait to eat here again.

The staff was so kind and hospitable and made some great recommendations. We got several different noodle dishes but my favorite was the pickled mustard and beef noodles. It was so great that I am getting hungry again thinking about it now. …Thank you very much Blake!
