This Review is for Eyeconic, a VSP owned subsidiary. Purchasing my eyeglasses on line seemed convenient, time saving, and safe in the age of COVID-19 therefore I tried Eyeconic. This was a disappointing experience, I won't use Eyeconic again, and I do not recommend. Pros: Able to seamlessly use my vision insurance through the Eyeconic website. The website is slick and makes it seem like you are getting a huge discount on the eyeglasses when actually the insurance is paying a portion, so its not really a discount. Lack of transparency here. I liked the vast selection of frames from most brands. Cons: The website does not allow users to select an eye doctor. There is a 'choose a provider' page, but you can't add your selection to your profile. I called and spoke to a customer service rep who could not add the provider from their side either. The rep told me 'the provider gets into your profile after a claim is paid to that provider.' Makes no sense. The website is great for selecting frames and making a purchase, it seems that's where Eyeconic focused in developing the website – sales The after sales service does not exist on the website. Once an order is placed, there is no way to use the website to obtain a status report. The only info I was able to get from the website was: 'order in process.' My first order was cancelled by Eyeconic due to (they claimed) Eyeconic not being able to contact my eye doctor and get my prescription. Eyeconic did not notify me of this cancellation nor did they notify me during the period of time when they were supposedly unsuccessfully trying to contact my eye doctor. Note I gave Eyeconic express written permission to obtain my prescription from my eye doctor. I only found out about the cancelled order when I called Eyeconic repeatedly to ask for a status report. Oh, by the way, every time I called Eyeconic there was an automated system that informed me of a lengthy wait time, for example 18 mins and as long as 40 minutes.I called my eye doctor and in five minutes was able to get my prescription emailed to me it took one simple phone call. I don't understand why Eyeconic was not able to get my prescription from my eye doctor nor why they failed to contact me before cancelling my order. I placed a second order, provided Eyeconic my prescription, and heard nothing for several weeks. When I called Eyeconic to check on the status (Eyeconic website does not provide this info) I was told 'there's been a delay' and the rep used bad weather as the excuse for the delay. My new eyeglasses finally showed up and they don't allow me to see properly, the progressive portion of the lenses is not lined up properly. Eyeconic states '100% satisfaction guaranteed.' I can only imagine what I am going to have to go through to get these glasses fixed or replaced or get a refund. Stay tuned for an update.

Absolute horrible customer service. Our HR department no longer enrolls our dependents on our end, they mention to visit VSP to do such, but you cannot, have to call their customer service who make you hold 45+ minutes and then can't help you either.
