Beautiful, quiet little spot. Creek runs right through and is very pleasant to listen to as you fall asleep at night. Great view of the Sierras. Facilities are nice and clean, as much as vault toilets can be at least. Very close to Independence so very simply to do runs from camp to the store. And only 5 minutes or so from Oak Creek Dispensary π

Being towards the end of September there is no water running through the creek. They do have water spickets. In my opinion there will be better places to camp. Very close to town which makes it a nice place to stay if you want to visit the town.

Great spot with a view of the mountains on the tent side. Not a lot of people for a Friday night which was nice. The stream is a medium level of noise but very soothing. Better than expected
