This place ROCKS!! Even if you're not a Huge Night of the Living Dead, it's a really, really nice place. Peace and a great way to relax. They also have a lot of Veterans there, and 2 benches that honor them. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Check it out!!!

This cemetery on the outskirts of Evans City, Pennsylvania is almost like a place of pilgrimage if you are a fan of classic movies and the zombie genre. One of the filming locations of the famed 1968 "Night of the Living Dead" by George Romero. This cemetery has become world famous and is frequently visited by fans. I had the opportunity to visit while in the area and I was impressed by the fact that not much has changed in the 53 years since the movie was filmed. The cemetery is very well kept and the graves seen on camera had flowers on them from previous visitors. The chapel seen in the background is also in great condition and just as it was back in '68. Cemetery was not hard to find, but be cautious at night because the roadway is narrow and in a very rural area so lighting is minimal. Please also be respectful when visiting and understand that while this location is famous from the movie, it is still an active cemetery and there are others visiting loved ones buried here.

Great classic horror film. Grave marker that was in the movie scene is right by road close to chapel.
