It hurts to leave a bad review for these guys, but others should know. I bought a total of 3 new ATVs here, but it's been several years. This spring, one of them wouldn't start, I'm retired, but spent my whole career in the automotive world, including an ASE certified tech. I couldn't hear the fuel pump run, the relay was good and there was power to the fuel pump, so I called Doug's where I bought it to inquire the price of a fuel pump installed, the answer was roughly $1000, which was about what I'd expected, about $400 parts and several hours labor. I loaded it onto a trailer and took it to them, the guy in the shop was pretty vocal about being way behind, working all alone, working too many hours, etc. He said it would be up to a month before he could look at it, my response was fair enough, I'm in no hurry, do it when you can. I planned to wait until I hear from him, a month went by, five weeks, six weeks, seven weeks. I finally decided to call and inquire, this is where it went bad. It hadn't been touched yet, and he had no idea when it would, his computers were all messed up and would be unable to get parts from Bombardier for the foreseeable future. I felt my best option was to pick the machine up and take it somewhere else. When I got there he was quite angry with me, he said he'd told me I'd have to be patient and prepared a bill for $150 "diagnostic" time (although I'd already diagnosed it). These guys used to be the best, and stuck with their brand because of THEM. It's not the money, delay or phoney charges that's the most annoying, it's the general lack of compassion and attitude of one employee that's ruining the whole business.
