Hi Eleanor, We certainly appreciate the concern for our fellow libraries. Have no fear! Libraries are integral parts of their individual communities, and residents love their local libraries. We expect to see an increase in attendance at the new library and we're prepared to handle that by increasing staff and programming, but we expect that increase in attendance to largely come from Victor and Farmington residents. Smaller libraries like Bloomfield, Red Jacket, and others will continue to thrive because they also have a wonderful population of library users and supporters, and they have their own outstanding programs and events.
