Room booked and available on the spot. Portia was very professional when assisting me and I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was ready at 6am and the pool was a perfect way to end a long day on the road. Location is right off the highway across the street from Waffle House and near gas stations and other eateries.

The room was clean with nice fixtures. The bathroom was bright. The tv turned on when I got in the room to welcome me. The breakfast was large with little food for a vegetarian. There was no nondairy milk option. The oatmeal was good with walnuts and raisins. The person who checked me in was trying to help with a phone call in the middle of checking me in. It was awkward.

I checked in late last night and was exhausted from driving all day. I wanted to pay for the night in cash and the woman at reception said that I could. But she needed my card for “incidentals” and that I could pay my cash balance in the morning. After taking several minutes just to find an available room and hand me my keys, she took my card and put the normal “hold” on it…or so she said. The next morning, after being awakened by housekeepers stomping around loudly and incessantly in the room above me for an hour straight, I went downstairs to pay my cash balance. But the new woman at reception told me my card from last night had already been charged the full balance! She attempted to reverse the charge on my card but who knows if/when that’ll come through. The lies/deception from the receptionist last night and the disturbance from the housekeepers this morning make it seem as if some of the employees have a huge chip on their shoulder of some sort. Very disappointed, angry, and hurt.
