Wowzers! My 12 year old daughter attended 9 weeks of camp and lost an astounding 36 pounds! She gained self confidence, happiness and joy in exercise, especially Zumba! It was a significant investment but the best decision for her & her future. We are incredibly proud of her success and already have “tools” set up before her return home. My daughter got a short-lived stomach bug and the nursing staff was phenomenal. Caring and thorough in communicating with me. This camp has changed her life, she came home feeling confident about herself and excited to keep the exercise momentum up. Never once did my daughter complain about the camp food. We increased her protein intake to double portion per her Dr’s recommendation before she arrived. This allowed her to feel full & satiated, if needed. I believe the double protein intake contributed to her astounding weight loss in addition to all the fun exercise the kids do. The camp keeps them moving all day, in a fun way.

I was sent here in the early 2000s when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. From afar, it looks like a beautiful, fun camp. But when you are there, it is a child prison for "fat" kids. When I arrived, I was weighed in front of everyone and Tony shouted my weight aloud to everyone and said " we will work on this." The food was okay, either very bland or overly seasoned. There was no AC, only large fans in the cabins. I showered with 3 other girls at the same time which made me very uncomfortable. I was bullied for not being fat, for being poor. They only allowed you to call your family once a week for 15 minutes and they had phone guards by the phones who would yell at you when it was time to get off.

It was a wonderful experience that changed my daughter’s life. We tried everything to help her lose weight over a period of four years and being immersed in this environment was the only thing that has ever resonated. We are forever grateful to this camp!

Best weight loss camp ever! If you want to transform your child into the best they can be then this is the camp for you. No one can believe she is the same person. She looks incredible, has great self esteem and was able to continue the plan when she came home. All of our friends are in complete shock when then see her - they don't even recognize her. Everyone is asking me where she went over the summer because they all want their kids to look like her. I would give them 100 stars if I could. My daughter is a teenager and went to camp for almost 8 weeks. They exceeded all my expectations and my daughter wants to return next year. This camp changed my daughters life.
