I think it's great for nervous dogs to get slowly exposed to new people at PetSmart. Since everyone at PetSmart is so used to dogs visiting, the dogs are not typically approached by employees or customers. The store is big enough to start by walking the quieter isles. I would just be careful if your dog doesn't like other dogs because there will definitely be other dogs there!

I have pomeranians and I usually pay between $50-$60 but that's with ears nails awash and cut and dry. I haven't been disappointed yet and we have been going and getting them done 8 years now
