I was thoroughly satisfied with this company. Joe was amazing! He was on time and pleasant, very professional and explained everything to this old lady until I understood what he did and exactly how he resolved the problem. He was also friendly even to my dog! Lol! The cost was efficient and yes I would use this company again. Thanks Joe and stay safe kind and productive. 😊

Rick installed FLO BY MOEN device in our water line to enable us to remotely monitor our water usage, detect any leaks, and remotely shut off water to the house to minimize any resulting damage. He also walked us through the process of setting up the device's phone app for controlling it remotely. We are very happy with the work he did for us.

YES master plumber license #133 with Onondaga county plumbing control and all or employees are licensed journeymen or registered apprentices fully insured and all work will be installed per code and inspected. If you want an improper repair that wont last you are at the wrong place everything we do is warranted for one year and any material we supply is also warranted for one year in house along with the manufacturer's warranty terms. We also strive to use name brand, high quality, American made products.
They probably already did. If a technician is presenting you options they are based on a wide knowledge base gained from years of their own and supervisor experience. We will not make uninformed decisions. Any situation in question is brought immediately to management's attention so we can make the necessary assessment and find the best possible solution.
We carry a large variety of material in stock on our trucks and this also varies depending on the technician and what special product training or specialties he has. That being said if we need additional material we make a determination on the best way to get it to your job from various options available that might be sending it with the person who is coming to help remove your water heater or ordering it for the next day if applicable. Larger and heavy items will be delivered by the supplier directly. Warranty parts will ship from the manufacture directly to the customer. The technician may drive to the local hardware store or supply house. Another tech may have the needed product on their truck and stop to drop it off. If the question is regarding finish fixtures the answer is often the customer. There are far too many options available for us to assume your style and function preference when it come to finished fixtures but we can offer advice on brand and sales location.
This is by far the number one question. We will provide forward upfront cost information to the best of our ability as soon as is physically possible to do so. This may be a multi stepped process as in it will be x dollars to show up open the floor or wall to access a leak. Once the leak is found and accessed we will present repair options and chose a plan. But you will be as informed as possible the whole time. It also can be as simple as replacing that faucet is $150.00. Any job over $1,000.00 dollars will have a written estimate prepared and signed off on before work is started.
As soon as possible. And this varies widely but our CSRs and technicians work very closely on scheduling and are often very accurate at estimating the time needed for repairs, on larger jobs that last days or weeks we work from a detailed schedule to ensure proper work flow.
Often times yes. We may need to gain access from behind a built in fixture or in a ceiling below to make a repair to reach the connection for your new shower drain.
Yes, yes and yes we also like baked goods and candy
We have been doing this for 50 plus years and still run into new problems. We would need several large trucks to contain even half of what we would need to deal with any problem we run into. In short we can only plan for the most likely scenarios and use what information we are provided. Plumbing systems are often very well hidden inside a structure. And in our area houses can be 150 years old and have 100 year old plumbing or be less than a year old. Even a new house can be plumbed several different ways with varying materials.
Our pricing structure depends on many factors and to some extent it does include dispatch and drive time. Our technicians come from all ends of our service areas as do our suppliers and customers. We constantly work to minimize drive times and therefore any associated cost to our customers.
In short, yes. Any time our technician needs help for a job they or a supervisor will anange for that. This could mean that someone is bringing your water heater as another technician is unhooking your old one. Or that you will have 2 or 3 techs working on one job at once to complete it in a more timely manner. We strive to use our labor in the most efficient way possible and sometimes that also means that someone will be completing a larger project on their own if time allows.
Plumbing is often concealed behind your finished walls and often these walls are damaged by leaks or will be opened for access to make repairs or necessary changes. We personally do not offer drywall repair or carpentry services but we do have a "little black book" of contractors we can recommend for any number of repairs you may need once the plumbing portion of your project is complete.
In general before it is covered up. Depending on the project this can mean different things but if we are doing a pipe installation in a wall it will be inspected before the drywall is installed. A buried sewer or water line installation will be inspected before it's buried and a final fixture installation will be inspected before it's put into use by the end user.
Its for your protection your neighbors and ours. Plumbing as a whole is a field that deals with both drinking water and sewage two things that are very important to the health of the general public. Every plumbing instillation needs to protect the public water supply and insure safe disposal of waste while also offering the modern convenience and reliability we have come to expect from these installations. We adhere to the latest codes as should any licensed plumbing contractor and inspections insure that.
This varies greatly depending on many factors. Emergency calls get prioritized and we always have time set aside for that but some days that might still mean you'll be without hot water or working drains until tomorrow. We often tell people that a hotel room will be a lot cheaper then an all night emergency service call compared to waiting for a normal charged call the next day. At any point in time non emergency calls are scheduled on a first come first served basis that could be anywhere from the next day to 3-4 weeks out so planning and communication are very important.
Any job we think will take less than a half day we will immediately try and complete if the material is available. Any more than that and we are going to present options for pricing and time so you can make a informed decision and work out an appropriate schedule.
Cost is based on too many factors to accurately estimate over the phone. In an older home what seems like a simple repair may be a bigger project. Often times we will suggest you replace additional plumbing for a more complete repair. There can be unseen damage that we can only assess once the job has started.
