The people at the front desk are kind and helpful. They listen, and they give you the papers and instructions you may need, and answer any questions. The staff that takes care of the actual housing part are informative and always ready to answer any questions that come up. It's really a great place. No one should worry about how they'll be treated when they walk in the door. It will be okay.

Yes but you have to pay a $250 pet deposit and they'll put a pet permit sticker on your front door

I believe that the costs are based off of your income and where the apartment is located (prince hall or the high rise) and im not sure how much the pet deposit is. It would be the best to call and ask about the pet deposit. But definitely go down there and get your application started and put in because it does take some time to get into a house.
You have to fill out an application and then once you are approved you are placed on a waiting list. It shouldnt take that long to get a house depending on how many people are on the waiting list. They have several locations for placement.
