Holiday Inn Rock Island - Quad Cities, an IHG Hotel

The room was clean. Location is not desirable at all. Most business in the area appear out of business. Walked to park just a couple of blocks away. Would not recommend it if you have kids. Parking is horrible, lot is very small. Not sure where you park once the few spots are full. Follow guest told us in the elevator that some people walked in and just took stuff from pantry and proceeded to just walk out. I believe it from what we saw in the area. Breakfast is not free. When we checked out there were several people complaining at the desk. Our reservation was for 3. The room only had towels and wash clothes for 2. Said heated pool - no - was extremely cold. Not chilly, cold. But room was clean, you can tell they have attempted to update the rooms. Won’t be going back.

Lots of good things to report. Comfortable rooms, good temperature, cool pool, the hot tubs were very hard to find, even now I couldn't and I'm lead to believe they were there, more appropriate signage to them would be approciated. Parking was wildly limited, made it very hard to park after leaving earlier in the day.

Nice hotel. The paint or maybe plaster was cracked and separating from the wall so it needs some attention. The coffee maker did not work and when mentioned to lady at front desk there was barely any acknowledgement. I'll bet that coffee maker is still in the room. We were only there one night so this was only a quick observation. The bed was comfortable and the night staff very friendly and welcoming.

Had an Incredible Weekend Getaway here 2/2022! Very clean and friendly helpful staff. The rock Island alehouse restaurant and brewery on site is absolutely fantastic and delicious! We were surprised at how nice the modern rooms were. There are other restaurants coffee shops shopping at night life within an easy walk right outside the front door and the river park is only a block away. Plenty of free on-site parking. We cannot annunciate our pleasantly surprised we by this property. Definitely stay here again!
