Switching vets is hard but when my big baby of a German Shepherd feels comfortable I know it’s the right choice. (I felt comfortable, too!)

The front office gals are sweet, caring and knowledgeable, and all three vets are amazing. I am very wedded to dr. Evans but during her maternity leave I got to know Dr. Rowe and Dr. Bailes. They are both wonderful. Dr. Bailes held my hand through Lucy's terrifying pancreatitis, and has been right there for me on Simon's slow downhill heart failure. I have had many vets over the course of my life and this is only the second practice where I've felt like the vets truly care about my dogs.

Today was my first visit and I was not impressed. Our appointment was at 10:45 and while we were put in a room, we were waiting past 11:05 for anyone to even come in. We felt a little ignored/forgotten about. We'd brought in old records and tried to share those with the receptionist but she didn't seem interested in them I understand the vet office on a weekend can be a busy place but I just felt bad for the cat who had to be stressed in his carrier for so long. No one came in the exam room until the doctor came in, about 5-10 minutes later. He didn't introduce himself. He seemed friendly and was good with our cat but I would have appreciated if he'd taken just a few minutes to explain more about our cat's condition/the plan he was recommending, especially since we were in for a concern not a wellness visit. I've worked in veterinary medicine for parts of my life so my standards are high and unfortunately this facility did not meet my expectations. Pros: cheap, seemed clean Cons: professionalism, friendliness, communication There seemed to be a lot of staff around they were just doing other things, seemed to be lots of people though since the vet did everything on his own.

We love aid animal hospital, the vets, and the staff. The 3 vets are all amazing. We have been taking our 5 and 3 year old dogs here since they were 10 weeks old. The care is always amazing and affordable. The vets and staff are trustworthy both from a medical standpoint and financial standpoint. We couldn't be happier.

Unfortunately we do not take in animals from the public. We are a veterinarian and generally don't house animals. We will not accept animals that are dropped off or surrendered. If we get animals dumped at our clinic, they will most likely end up at animal control. We suggest you call animal control from the start or animal shelters/rescues in the area to assess options. These phone numbers can be googled for more info.
We're so sorry to hear about your rat! We'd love to help you any way we can, but questions regarding specific treatment will require that you call us directly at 816-363-4922.
Unfortunately, we don't generally accept volunteers, because each patient needs to be monitored and handled carefully by staff only. We do accept donations, such as blankets, towels, and food if you're looking to help. Thanks!
