I was at hill Park not the pavilion.

I am looking to have a small gathering for an hour or two on a Saturday. Do I need to make a reservation? and if so how do I do this?

To guarantee yourself a table, reserve the pavilion. Otherwise, I don't think a reservation is required but if someone else is already there you may not have space.
