Our Japatul lab puppy has been an amazing addition to our family. Bonnie crate conditioned our puppy, so when she arrived home with us, she readily accepted her new crate. Bonnie also conditioned the puppies to going the bathroom on shavings—when our puppy came home, she continued that practice here. She had been socialized with other people in a large play, so she is friendly, curious and confident. She was dewormed and vaccinated as well. All in all, an amazing puppy. I know any support I need is only a call or text away. Thank you so much Bonnie!

We just brought our Japatul puppy home a couple of weeks ago. We had such a wonderful experience buying our puppy from this place. Bonnie is wonderful to work with, is very thorough, her puppies are very healthy and well taken care of and her facility is amazing. All of our questions were answered in full. This experience exceeded our expectations. Bonnie is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Getting your next Labrador puppy here will not disappoint.

I had been looking for a started puppy all throughout Ca and Or. They are hard to come by. I found one other breeder in Maxwell ca who charged an astronomical amount for a started puppy and could not even provide me with pictures and videos of the actual puppy. Instead, provided me with a video of another puppy not doing much that impressed me, then told me I would get the idea of what the available puppy is like. When I contacted Bonnie regarding a puppy, she sent me pictures and a detailed video of the training this puppy had, both on and off leash and in different environments. The price of the puppy was very reasonable as well. I took the trip to Japatul to visit the puppy in person and fell in love. This was the best decision ever. I am so glad I found this place. This puppy has proven to be a wonderful addition to our family and a great assistant dog for my son with autism. We have continued his training with a professional training who comes to our home. Our trainer agrees as well, this puppy was an excellent choice. So glad I found her!

We purchased a female chocolate, Lola, from you back in 2007. Unfortunately, we just had to say goodbye to our sweet Lola yesterday. Our hearts are broken, but we loved every moment with her. I am sure you hear wonderful things about your dogs from people, but I wanted to share how much Lola meant to us. My husband had a terrible work accident in 2006 where he fell 35 feet off a power pole. Miraculously, he wasn’t paralyzed, but broke his back and shattered his leg. He had a long road to recovery ahead of him and was battling chronic pain, depression and anxiety. He was lost and felt like he had no purpose because he wouldn’t be able to work or live at the same capacity like he did before his accident. What he wanted most was a dog to keep him company. This is where Lola enters our lives. I remember going to pick her out. We were surrounded by all of Decoy and Arial’s girls. Your daughter was there telling us all about each puppy. One of the puppies just wanted to be pet and have her belly rubbed. She was wearing a color with happy faces on it. That was it. Kevin fell in love. As soon as we could, Lola started taking obedience classes. This gave Kevin a purpose. There were days that Kevin didn’t want to get out of bed due to pain and depression, but knowing he had to walk Lola got him up everyday. Those two were inseparable. They became quite the dynamic duo. When Kevin first got hurt, he lived in a rehab center for 1 month on bed rest. A young lady in a wheelchair would visit Kevin on a regular basis. She would bring in her dog Molly, which would make Kevin’s day. Kevin decided he wanted to give back and started taking classes to become certified as a Pet Partner allowing him and Lola to provide emotional support to others. Lola has visited many nursing homes and assisted living facilities over the years. She also loved playing with all the kids in our neighborhood. Lola even came to my work at Butte College to help relief stress for students taking mid-terms and final exams. Doing all these things with Lola gave Kevin a purpose again. Lola was the kindest and sweetest dog I have ever known. I believe Lola’s purpose was to help my husband recover and survive his injury. She far exceeded any expectations as a pet. In return, raising Lola to be the best dog and share her joy with others was Kevin’s purpose. Thank you for giving us almost 14 years of wonderful memories with Lola. She changed our lives and the lives of others. We can’t wait to start another adventure with our next Japatul Labrador.

Hello, I am a Lab lover for 40 years now. We have a 3 year old yellow female, and she would like a companion. We would be interested in a yellow puppy of either sex. Do you expect to have puppies sometime this year? Thanks, Michael Holland, Eureka.
