We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lee's Summit Animal Hospital and have gone there for years. Everyone is helpful and attentive. The care is affordable and exactly what it needs to be; unlike other Vet offices we have used before. The Doctors and staff are kind. We always know our pets are in good hands at the Lee's Summit Animal Hospital.

This is a vets office. Try animal shelter.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Call their office as it is calculated by weight of the animal. Recently went through this as well. If your budget allows don't go for the cheapest thinking all Vets are the same. They are good and fair in their pricing They generally sedate the animal first causing them to go to sleep before injecting the final drug. This gives you time with your friend to comfort them. Stay with them. Call ahead and make plans. They are very amenable to your wishes. Our SUV was our dogs comfort/safe place. So they did it there. She was a large dog and hurt her to walk or move. So this was the best for our situation. We spent the last hours driving her around and feeding her. She had 2 Whoppers and a Big Mac. Her favorites. Another dog we had was fond of cookies. So we put her on a blanket on the floor-got down with her and fed her cookies until she wanted no more. A good way to spend our last minutes together. Please plan ahead and bring what you need.
