Update 9/9/22: I took my truck to Kennedy Glass on 9/7, dropped it off at 9:30am and it was completed at 1pm the same day. The shop indicated there were no rust issues. Original Review: I left my vehicle out to get the smashed windshield replaced by Safelite Mobile while I was out of town. I opted in for text updates and gave them full photos and my phone number. The tech never called, texted or otherwise communicated with me. Instead they left a cryptic message about rust with the dogsitter. I came home to a still undrivable vehicle and no idea why. I had to call the main Safelite number twice and finally got a manager on the phone a full week after the appointment was scheduled. The manager said I had rust on my vehicle where the windshield needed to be glued. Id love to know what x ray vision they have to not remove the windshield to see the condition of the frame. If rust truly was an issue, help me understand my options, not just ghosting on me. All I needed was communication and some options on how to get it fixed, and Safelite couldn't even provide tangible options a week later.
