Has my complete trust in his decisions, and observations. He has made my visits very meaningful and thorough. Highly recommended!

I experienced kidney stones. The stone was so large they had to go in with a laser to break it up. I had a stent in for 5 days. Dr zuk ignored my requests for more pain medication. The pain was Indescribable, and I still haven’t felt normal after removing the stent. I tried telling the doctor but he brushed it off. I told him during my first post visit in june. He said it will It take some time to heal. It still burns when I pee, and I still feel very uncomfortable. I don’t know what is wrong, and it seems like no doctors at KCUC understand or care. I saw dr gudios before dr zuk, dr Collins, none of the drs made me feel comfortable and okay. I also never learned what type of stone I have, he said they never got the paperwork, and the stone tester was on vacation. Very disappointed and still in pain. This facility needs to be inspected.

Very friendly staff! Dr Karmer is top notch! Always on time appointments, and usually in and out in 15 minutes or less.

Questions & Answers

No option on your call number to make an appointment for a new patient after I got the referral from my primary doctor. How are I supposed to know which doctor I am going to see?

I was ignored several times before I was able to make an appointment. If you have a referral it's likely they already know which doctor you are with.

I have been having r flank pain, urine foul and murky was treated x1 for uti but have had several bouts with pain where I feel the need to go to the er, but I dont, , do I go in, do I need a referral

It is our policy not to advise publicly. This is not a safe way from a privacy point of view. Please consult with your primary care physician (PCP) before seeing a specialist. You can contact your insurance first to see if you can directly go to a specialist before seeing your PCP. Any of our offices would be happy to schedule an appointment with you if your insurance allows. They will drive the need for a referral.
