This supply store has a great selection of what you may be looking for to maintain your coiffure: beads; gels; scarves; styling tools. You name it. It's worth The visit despite the African dudes lurking about between the rows like spectors asking if you need help when you haven't asked for it. It's not fun to have somebody of similar ilk following you around a store like you're a thief. I generally stay away from this place on that account. Other than that it's a good spot I guess. One of the few places in Harlem where you'll find whale sperm Dominican hair conditioner. Yeah, I said it and I'm not kidding. They have this product.

Problem is we support businesses that don't support us. Most beauty supply stores are Asian owned and operated. They hire few people of color and pay them peanuts. As long as people of color support these businesses they will continue to disrespect us.
That's a very good question. Not a part of my own beauty regimen, so not sure. However, feel free to call and ask, or even stop by in person. PS: They may have a salon section in the back area, what I do know is that everyone there is happy to help.

Tbh.. I've never had a problem with any of the cashiers there.. But speak up and ask them directly.. The customers basically keep them in service.. At least that's what I would do
And you can also go upstairs n get your hair done there done there as well.
