A few months back I chose to try out this salon to get passion twists done, mostly because it showed up as most local and the pictures and aesthetic was appealing. I was a little disappointed in the pricing but was in a bind preparing for a special occasion for which I was performing and couldn’t get to my go to. Although the experience was enjoyed, almost 2 weeks later I noticed two twists coming out. I have never experienced that before in the past, I was extremely upset at the moment because I went over budget for a place that carried itself to be so pricey and elite and I just couldn’t believe only 14 days following the hours that the young lady took to do my hair that the twists were so easily coming undone so quickly. That’s never been my norm. Almost a week later, another came undone and eventually altogether the style was falling apart. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity or privilege to set time aside in my busy work schedule and travel to have this addressed. It really bothered me in a sad way because of that. I would say just be careful and make sure you are getting your moneys worth, which I always say, but haven’t felt so disappointed in my spending for braids in a while. Hopefully they’ve improved or lowered their expectations and pricing with customers. Really, I give three stars because the actual experience was peaceful and engaging but what followed was a little shocking considering what I paid.

Love my hair style! it came out beautiful and i received lots of compliments. Janelle is very sweet as well. Great stylist and the atmosphere definitely makes you want to go back. Definitely worth going here!

I got stitch braids done by Janelle. She was awesome! Very professional, friendly, took care of my hair, and the results were fantastic. I also really loved the music, and the environment was clean and neat.

Found JC’s Palace a few weeks ago. Janelle (the owner) was so welcoming to both my daughter and I. The salon is nice and so is the ambience (music on point. Sorelle is the stylist that did my daughters hair both times and it came out beautifully. Definitely a go to if you need to get your hair braided.
