Under staffing unfortunately, just as in most retail stores, has made things challenging. Once you have an appointment, staff is helpful. Trying times.
Just long as the phone is unlocked and has a Sim card slot it should be easily transferred over and work fine.
My best advice is to call 611 and advise care where you're traveling and what phone your taking there. They'll check that information and give you the best package options. Most customers, depending on the travel destination and duration, go with the travel pass. It's $10 per day that you use the phone in another country.
