When I returned to Oak Park -the village of my birth- in 2002, I had a floor lamp that needed attention and Mr. Clyde Williams fixed the lamp ASAP. During my ten years back in Oak Park, he was always willing and able to repair many other items as well. I now live in Chicago -Gold Coast- and had a Tiffany Lamp which needed a new switch. I took the Chicago Avenue bus to P.J.'s Ace hardware and Clyde replaced it with a much better switch -than the original one- and it is once again functioning beautifully. EXCEPTIONAL WORK ETHIC. I am most grateful to Mr. C. Williams.

I love this place. PJ's is one of the few stores left in the Chicagoland area that has character. It's a hop and skip away for anybody in the Austin neighborhood. The store is small, but, somehow, some way, they always manage to have what I need. As a bonus, the employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If you have a home project and you live nearby, you can't go wrong with PJs.
