Pretty good store, clean and well stocked. Sad the people there are so short staffed, but they are helpful and pleasant.

They have a monopoly in my area so there's really no where else to shop except for a small butcher shop/grocery store called Welch's Stop and Shop which is where I buy the majority of my meat which is wonderful or Aldi which I'll go there on occasion but won't buy Aldis meat. But the majority of my shopping is done at Strack and Van Til. I've been going there for many years. Now since Biden is POTUS there's many things that you can't find anymore. There's so many empty shelves that they're trying to fill with things that don't belong there...probably not their fault but as a customer I see it! So sad! Thank you Joe Biden for the increased prices and the empty shelves!

Went to St. John store to place an order for fried chicken at deli. Deli staff insisted they would not make a large order (30 pieces) with only a 5 hour notice. Cedar lake store was happy to take the order and was extremely polite and professional. The deli staff also received a nice tip for their courtesy and professionalism. Not to mention the cedar lake store earned my business of $600 a week in groceries.
