Old World Market is the place to go for ethnic food. I go there monthly for all my traditional items. I love making jollof rice and Old World has all I need.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it's 1 of the only African market on the north side which is ridiculous when a large majority of Africans live on the north side. The space is tiny with long lines and they haven't upgraded for over 20 years! Most of the food is old and the frozen products are mostly just ice when you thaw it out. Management needs to stop being cheap and renovate and bring fresh products into the store. I bet if this store catered to Europeans, it will be more updated with fresh merchandise.

Hi! We do carry scotch bonnet pepper in sauce form. If you are looking for the fresh pepper, we carry habanero peppers which can be a substitute to scotch bonnet peppers. Habanero peppers are slightly bitter and less spicy than scotch bonnet peppers.
