If you want a true Lake get away where the focus is Maine not electronics this is a place for you! The Averill House Vineyard crew enjoyed the experience! The new owners are truly invested in your stay. And the local food scene is fabulous.

Stayed here for a snowmobile trip with my family, had some issues and the owner was absolutely amazing! Went out of his way to get us taken care of. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. The place was clean and updated and everyone was so friendly. Can't wait to come back.

For a two-star motel, they far exceed! Stayed in the first floor suite for 4 nights in early July. Outdoor photos are completely accurate with many beautiful blooming plantings and neatly manicured grounds. Dock is in great condition and access to the lake is a snap. Everything was in good shape, not new, mind you, but good condition (and we are somewhat particular). Check-in and other support was excellent - family run and they are present and helpful. I already recommended it to friends!
