Loved it! Definitely overpriced but it's that cute country kitsch. The sandwiches were decent. The clam chowder was good. Good menu. Bathrooms were clean. Thumbs up! Oh and there is a pretty fish tank when you first walk in.

The food was pretty decent and I enjoyed the hour-long drive (which was half the reason we went there). I liked some of the unique menu options (like the Scallops Caesar). A few critiques: 1. There should be an option to have french fries or onion rings if you order a burger- this is standard practice anywhere else. It's a family-friendly place and kids tend to like fries with their burgers- not a small bag of chips. 2. The girl at the counter wanted to give us our dessert first before the meal, putting it on a plate and giving it to me right when I ordered our lunch (even though I mentioned that we would be sharing it after our lunch). 3. The bussing of tables was nonexistent. For us to split our dessert I had to clear the table (I don't mind doing it all that much but practically everything was self-service; I worked for tips when I was younger so I do believe in, at least, doing something to earn them.).

Friendly, ample portions, prices reasonable. The coffee really hits the spot - nothing fancy but solid diner style brew in the morning. Sandwiches and salads very satisfying. Bathrooms clean. Consistent high quality.

The vegetarian sandwich was absolutely fantastic! All crisp, fresh veggies perfectly stacked on awesome bread. Just the right amount of avocado. 10/10. I will be back again and again. YUM.
