The previous answer is correct. I did it a long time ago on a FIOS unit. But sure don't remember what I did. Or maybe wait for it to recharge.

I purchased a Battery (AJC-D7S) last year for my Emergency Light and it will not charge anymore. Is that about the average time for one of these batteries to fail?

That seems very short, even for an improperly- maintained battery.

Good luck getting it replaced or refunded. These guys will make you pay for shipping the return and charge for sending the replacement. Buy elsewhere next time.
