I dropped my ebike off to add a protected layer to my inter tube on the rear tire of my bike at the Conte’s bike shop in Boynton Beach. They added the protective layer to my rear tire, which meant they had to remove the tire. When I came back to pick up my ebike, it was inoperable from a throttle battery operation perspective. The motor hasn’t worked since. They did try to investigate/inspect the bike but was unable to determine why it worked when I brought the ebike to Conte’s bike shop but not when I came back to picked it up….from a simple tire change. This was very disappointing to say the least. They have since called me to apologize. But to be clear, NO one said go get the bike fixed and we would take care of the cost. I only opted to return the bike to the vendor because there was no other option given. The vendor has been very responsive and taking ownership of my bike and has commented to make it right regardless. I’m only updated this review because I’m a man of my word and Conte’s bike shop call to apologize. Guess we’ll never know why my bike stop working in their care. But I do appreciate the call!! Once my ebike is back fully working operational, I’ll update this review. FYI….I never write reviews.

I brought my bike in for repair of a flat tire. Mike was very helpful and quick with the service (under 10mins). This was the first time I had it serviced since I bought it at Dick’s, even though I had felt it wasn’t riding smoothly. I was only charged for the tube replacement but Mike did a tune up that worked magic on the bicycle! I took it for a spin afterwards and it was a huge improvement. Gears are changing smoothly, it’s riding silently and brakes work great! Feels like I’m riding a brand new high-end cycle. I’m so glad I made the visit to Contes and will be back next time.

Michael was wonderful to work with. He checked out and completely adjusted the bike before I left and had it in perfect working order. Extremely happy with my purchase! He even told me about new places I could go riding at.
