Great finds here! I got a mint condition leather chair with nail head trim for $40!

I found the experience with Restore very disappointing as I followed the instructions for furniture donations with the required pictures and never received any denial of the items until these workers came for pickup. These items were gently used and organized for pickup. He told my sister while I was on the FaceTime, that the items had to be “new” and in “perfect condition” because they sell these furnishings. I am well aware that items are resold. The website doesn’t indicate such terms as he used. I have been to the west norriton location and have seen the items in the various rooms on display, they are gently used and not perfect. This was a terrible experience and I will simply donate where these items will help someone in need. I am certainly disappointed that I have donated here in the past but will not in the future.

I just tried to drop off a brand new food chopper (still in the original packaging), two antique meat grinders and an antique suit rack. As soon as I opened my trunk, an employee who was chatting with someone in the parking lot started yelling at me “no unauthorized drop offs.” Really rude since he was too busy chatting to do his job. I closed my trunk and left. Next time I’ll just call Purple Heart. The meat grinders were worth between $40-60 each!

Some items are a good deal, buy MANY are overpriced. Light fixtures are a great deal. But furniture in the front room area as you walk in, is way overpriced. Rugs are overpriced as well for dirty old rugs

They will definitely take them
Yes they do, but they will ask some general questions about your items first.
I would call them and set up an appointment. They pick up 6 days a week.
Friday
Store is currently open for business!
They just started bringing in PODS, so it looks like they are making progress. Still closed unfortunately
This particular location is closed.
Yes
I'm not sure..sorry
I'm not sure. I would reach out to them and ask. They do have large trucks for them to be able to do that.
Yes they do... They'll come pick it up from you. ( make exceptions to NOT go in your home due to Covid 19) Try having things that're still salvageable too.
I believe so but, I'm not 100% sure. You may want to contact them about it. Good Luck!
Closed until the end of the month.
No. 1 They are volunteers. No. 2 Something probably went wrong with staffing today. Cut them some slack.
I agree with DM Hayes.
Yes they will
No longer accepting house paint. Paint donations to the charity can only come from professional sources (new, unused, unopened)
If they are clean and still usable
Mattress are risky due to bedbug issues. You won't commonly find them in resale stores
They have some rolling wheeled floor dolly's to roll things out to the car. You may want to bring some of your own, depending on what you are getting. Bring straps to secure the load to a dolly would be helpful. I have bought lots of base cabinets there for a workshop table. They don't always break up a set of kitchen cabinets, but some they do. They don't allow you to plug in an appliance to try it out as the power in the building there cannot handle it. I was interested in some of the above stove microwave ovens ($35-40) and i will probably bring a long extension cord and park the minivan outside the front door to test it out using the cars' inverter. (And a bottle of water). They have some tools for sale, lighting fixtures (some new and unused), stoves, washing machines, dryers, some tile, table sets/chairs, doors, sinks, countertops, vanity cabinets, living room furniture, household knick knacks.
