Camped at one of the hike in sites, it had the perfect balance of seclusion and proximity to the bathroom facilities. Facilities themselves were well kept and even included a dishwashing station and showers. There was (not unexpectedly) a huge raccoon that came out every night to search the site, so make sure you secure all food and trash.

The campsites are good sized and some have a great view of the lake. It's very peaceful out here.

One of our favorite family campgrounds. Go with a group of friends every year. Catch the lake in the early morning after a good campfire night and you won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing. Close to the big city's but it makes it feel like your way up north.

Yes...I think it's called intermittent camping.
You have to be 18. All the info is on the Michigan DNR reservations web page. That is also where all the reservations can be made.
Your best bet is head over to the mi dnr website and see what they have reserved. https://www.michigan.gov/dnr/0,4570,7-350-79119_79145---,00.html
Yes. They have to be on a 6 ft. leash.
Camped there many times and loved it. Great lake with plenty of access and fishing pier. Unfortunately they don't have a group sight and like other state campgrounds there isn't any water hook ups.Although you could reserve adjoining sights and they all do have electric hook ups.
Just electric.
Beach is not dog friendly. Boat launch is open to pets on 6ft leash
15 days is the longest you can stay. Then you have to leave the park for 5 days.
Is this a question?
