Ken welcomed me and helped me pick out a hat for my mom who shares her birthday with Christmas. He measured the inside of each hat we looked at to make sure the size was just right. Once I chose a hat, Ken steamed it, and packed it nicely with extra tissue paper. This is the service I got plus some great conversation. Go and see for yourself.

It can be the quick work of one day or the highly skilled work of many months to create a Panama hat. Therefore price can be as low as $50 to thousands of dollars. A very few "museum quality" hats are commissioned in advance and are in the tens of thousands. Panama hats are truly the hats of commoners and kings!
