Slightly out of the way but worth the trip. Great, eclectic selection of lots of rock, jazz and soul.

They may be a great store, but as a visitor to Philly from the UK, they really need to work on their communication. I phoned several times in advance, and always straight to voicemail. I walked from Center City to N Bailey, based on the address provided on their website, and nothing. I asked a local and they said they thought it operated out of a garage, and if they are at 1517 N Bailey then they were closed, which apparently they shouldn’t be based on their website. If they do operate out of a garage, then there is zero signage for when they are closed. I then checked the Google images and their OWN website, and they have 1517 listed, but the Google map on their site shows W Girard, as does an image of their logo on Google. So I walk down to Girard, and walk up and down both sides between 26th and 28th and nothing, other than a hint of maybe where they used to be on what I think is now a cafe (some old painted signs saying record store) So, I’m a collector and go out of my way to find great stores. I’ve spent maybe $500 in the last week at other stores. Sadly, my money and Brewerytown Beats we’re not meant to be. If you find it then you must be in the chosen few. Maybe they had an emergency and couldn’t open that weekend, but their marketing and communication didn’t help.

Do you carry a lot of 12" Dance records of the 70's ? Very popular artists with original versions of the song ? How much do you charge per 12" ? Are you well stocked with 70's dance 12" ? Do you ship ? Are all 12" in mint or NEW CONDITION ?

We have several thousand 12” singles ranging from the 70’s-2000’s. All different prices. We do ship, but nothing is cataloged. So you would have to come in and dig.

Do you guys carry any SACDs? I know... it's a dead niche.

We deal in used records. Not new equipment! Thank you!

I would assume a lot of djs, producers and musicians visit here. Does BreweryTown Beats play local acts? If so I d be honored to have soundscape from Archie Angle of Hi Vi Lounge (SoundCloud , MixCloud and Youtube) played.
