This Publix Pharmacy is an absolute insult to Publix. They claim they are a “small pharmacy” yet its one of the biggest pharmacies I’ve seen at a Publix. They don’t carry the medication I need and I have specifically asked multiple times for them to start ordering my medication because this is my new pharmacy. I was told both of my Rx’s would be ready the next day. I come back the next day, “Oh it was to early to fill your one medication. It will fill tomorrow.” I come the next day and the actual pharmacist talked to me and said “We don’t even have your medication.” Why was that never expressed to me??? I told him I had three pills left and with the hurricane coming I wanted to have my prescriptions. He had the audacity to say “We’re not even in the cone anymore for your information.” Literally was told that due to Florida being under a state of emergency we could refill prescriptions early. I don’t know his name, only that he’s a younger male pharmacist. I don’t like his attitude at all. This pharmacy needs a complete overhaul.

The pharmacy was not helpful and over charged me. They said it was due to a price increase and when I asked the pharmacist to verify the price increase he wasn't interested and just said "I know many of the medications went up after the first of the month. But I'm not certain which ones" when I explained that the medication has not gone up double that there was a mistake in the computer with the way my prescription was written the pharmacist patronized me rather than try to work through the problem. While the pharmacy is convenient I prefer an actual dedicated Pharmacy like Prescription Pad in Plantation.
