I was there at the beginning and now it almost where i feel it should have been to start off but i feel like the new owners are very passionate about their duties on their golf course and it shows.

This is outstanding track and in great condition. Challenging but fair with lots of slope and spectacular views. In the middle of rural western Illinois but you might think you are across the pond. The owner was sharing his experiences of all the changes he has made. Play this course now and if you want to see the whole course play the tips and enjoy. But other tee options for all levels. Enjoy!

Course is in really good shape. Great layout. The owner took time to talk to us about the course, future plans and layout. You can tell there is a lot of effort going into this course. This course will be in amazing shape in the next few years.

From the ownership, to the staff, to the layout, to the greens, to views, Fyre Lake trips my trigger. I hate to post this because I fear my secret little gem will be overrun by the masses. But if you love golf, want to be challenged and enjoy the rewards of a shot well played, I feel compelled to share share Fyre Lake. This is NOT merely a golf course.
