As outlined by Amendment 2, the following conditions qualify for medical marijuana treatment in Florida: ALS, cancer, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and PTSD. In addition to these qualifying conditions, Senate Bill 8A also allows for treatment of other “diagnosable, debilitating conditions of like, kind, or class” (such as anxiety, depression, and migraines), as well as terminal conditions (diagnosed by a physician other than the physician issuing certification) and chronic nonmalignant pain (defined as pain caused by a qualifying medical condition that persists beyond the usual course of that condition). To find out if your condition is eligible, simply give us a call at (855) 420-9170! You may also visit: https://www.cannamd.com/conditions/
Other than our appointment costs, we don’t charge any other fees! (Please note: The Florida Department of Health charges a separate $75 fee.)
We have clinics all over the state! However, our office in Fort Lauderdale is located at: 1451 W Cypress Creek Rd, Suite 300, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
Yes! Our physicians are state-licensed, board-certified MDs and DOs just like any other doctor you might visit. However, our physicians went through additional training in order to be able to legally recommend medical marijuana to patients, as mandated by Florida state law.
Florida law requires all recommending physicians to complete a state-mandated training program in order to qualify patients for medical marijuana use. All CannaMD physicians are state-licensed, board-certified physicians who have completed this additional training.
If you see one of our physicians and don’t qualify for whatever reason, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee!
Before purchasing cannabis from a medical marijuana treatment center (or dispensary), Florida patients must first qualify for a medical marijuana certification; CannaMD provides qualified patients with the state-required recommendation to complete this process. The state of Florida outlines a number of eligible health conditions. To see if yours is one of them, simply give our board-certified physicians a call at (855) 420-9170. We’re happy to review your personal medical history for FREE and steer you in the right direction!
No, we don't sell any products. We're the doctors that certify patients to receive their medical marijuana cards.
CannaMD requires supporting documentation or a doctor's note confirming your diagnosis for a qualifying condition. (We do not need to see lab results, x-rays, or other medical charts.) For more details, please give us a call at (855) 420-9170.
If you’re a first-time patient, our appointment fee is $195. Renewal appointments are $195. (Note: Florida law requires patients to complete an in-person renewal appointment every 210 days.) However, CannaMD is happy to extend a 10% discount to all veterans and active duty service members. Please note: The Florida Department of Health charges a separate $75 fee.
Absolutely! We’re honored to offer veterans and military service members a 10% discount on all appointment fees.
Florida law requires patients to complete an in-person renewal appointment every 210 days in order to keep their medical marijuana card active. We charge $195 for this renewal appointment. However, CannaMD is happy to extend a 10% discount to all veterans and active duty service members.
Renewing is easy! Simply give CannaMD a call at (855) 420-9170 to schedule your renewal appointment (required by Florida law every 210 days). If your physical card has expired, you'll need to pay the $75 annual fee to the Florida Department of Health. (We can also walk you through that process, as well!)
No, we do not charge extra for changing routes of administration. Please feel free to call us at (855) 420-9170 to learn more!
We're not familiar with Hydrogenetics; however, CannaMD operates out of an office building that shares space with a number of other practices (much in the same way dentists, lawyers, and other companies operate out of similar buildings) - which is likely why they share the same address.
Hi, Nelson! Unfortunately, Florida does not accept out of state certifications; however, our qualified team of physicians would be happy to help you get your Florida medical marijuana card. Please feel free to call us at (855) 420-9170 for more information!
Hi! Our initial appointments are $249. Renewal appointments are $199. However, we're happy to extend a 10% discount to all veterans and active duty service members. CannaMD patients can also earn $75 off each year by referring new patients. For more information, please visit our website or give us a call at (855) 420-9170. We're always happy to help!
