You have to pay upfront before they even tell you what your options are, and then they mis-quoted me on the prices for procedures available! Don't go here, they are butcher's! Shop around! Horrible experience

If you want great dental care at a great price, this is the place to go. Your treatment will require multiple visits, so if you don't have the time, don't go. I had a receding gum line and was quoted $5,000 for gum restoration surgery from a regular periodontist. I made an appointment with NOVA and had the surgery done for $850. You first have an evaluation appointment to see if they can even assist you. Then you go for more appointments to plan the treatment strategy. Since they are residents, they take pictures to use in their classes as part of the learning experience. The director of the periodontal office assisted my resident on all procedures. I always felt comfortable with the treatment they provided. The students and staff want to make sure they provide the best solution for the patient. They are not worried about making money. The facility is clean. The valet parking is complimentary and required. You check in on the first floor and they direct you to your department. I had the cell phone for my resident dentist and she always responded quickly when I contacted her with questions.

Thank You

I had a painful extraction done here. I didn't like the procedure, during the extraction in pain and after at home in pain and swelling. I had one person working on my tooth then another came in to try to pull it forcefully. I shouldn't have gone thru that in that way leaving me traumatized. Don't go to this place is what I recommend. I've had extractions before and never as bad as this place.

The general dentistry is good, that is to say cleanings and treatment of caries, the teachers are excellent. Endodontics is a complete disaster. I lost the tooth after a root canal and to resolve a complication that I had, I had to pay three surgeries to a maxillofacial surgeon.

If you are in pain, you can walk in and get an appointment in the "urgent care" clinic pretty much right away. Sometimes from there, if you have more concerns that you want to get addressed the students on rotation can follow up with you and screen you directly. Otherwise, If you aren't in pain but have problems/concerns you want to get addressed, come in and sign up to get screened. You will be on a wait list of sorts. Though the 2019 graduating class will be leaving soon and historically they up the number of screenings to compensate for the incoming dental students into the clinic.
