Well done parks and rec. Pulls in most of the kids from downtown Lillington for sports. Great staff and much more organized group.

Great watching softball tournament. Snack bar open good food and prices. Clean restrooms. Large playground for younger children.

Questions & Answers

How are teams built in Western Harnett Youth Recreation. Are their tryouts and a draft? I'm thinking about volunteering to coach. Who picks the teams and what are the criteria?

There is a big tryout or selection process prior to season starting, then coaches pull numbers to draft players that evening. So, teams aren’t stacked and there is fair playing advantage.
