While the Coast Guard performs amazingly well in emergencies, their attention to detail and discipline with respect to Evening Colors is extremely poor. Tonight was the second night where colors was not played and the flag lowered with respect and properly. As an old Marine, I find this very disturbing and question the mindset and discipline at this station.
