My wife and I took our son to a friend’s birthday party and we were told that adults were required to wear masks but they were “flexible” when it came to the kids. What sense does this policy make? My kid can run around with other kids and spread germs, as kids do, yet somehow adults wearing masks are going to prevent spreading said germs that the kids are going to spread amongst themselves and take home with them? Simply put, this is ridiculous and inconsistent with any sound reasoning. Seems like nothing but virtue signaling to me. I used to love to take my son there. You have lost a customer for life.

My son is 12 and loves it, as does his 10 year-old best friend and his friend's 9yo, 8yo, and 6yo siblings. It has everything from giant swings, a trampoline, and a zipline to a magnetic fishing pond, table train, dollhouse, and toy construction equipment to a quiet rock, flop, and storytime area to a small shop to a gathering/party room with tables. One of the really cool things I notice about the place is that older kids get a chance to comfortably revisit the comforts of play in their younger years without judgement. I think it is an emotionally healthy investment for that reason; it gives my son an outlet for his qualms about growing up without the need to regress in his behavior in a negative way outside of the confines of such a safe nonjudgemental venue.

There is no age limit for children with special needs. However, some of our equipment does have weight limits that some 16-year-olds may exceed (the zip line has a limit of 120 pounds for example, and 150 for many of our swings). The trampoline goes up to 220 so it is a popular choice for older teens.

The owner got sick today. He went to Urgent Care and tested positive for the flu. He posted on FB that he was sorry but he didnt want to expose anyone else.
