Drove out today with my dog after checking the website and calling, only to be told that they don’t take new clients by the person at the front desk. I checked out their website beforehand which stated they take new patients by walk-in and had 0 information stating they don’t take new clients. I called the phone number on said website to see if I could ask about vaccine prices beforehand and it only relayed their hours and a “press 1 to repeat message” at the end, so no receptionist or ability to contact the staff. At the vet’s office, they had at least a dozen papers taped to the divider at the front desk all repeating the same message, I don’t remember what it said but it was something simple and nonimportant to most clients coming in, and they also had a paper by each door stating “we no longer take walk-ins one hour before close” so I genuinely don’t understand why and how they don’t have anything - one - on their website stating they don’t take new clients and - two - any papers taped to the front door stating this alongside the other papers taped up. It’s also disappointing that they won’t even do a one-time, quick visit (as their website makes out as a regular occurrence) to get my dog a few shots. My dog and I recently moved to the area and I just needed to get his vaccines updated but it’s hard to find places within 30 minutes, or even places taking appointments within a reasonable distance. There were maybe 3 clients in what seemed like a large facility so I was surprised for a place that only takes walk-ins. It’s a shame because the facility looked professional but to my disappointment it was not.
