Fran Worthington at the front desk is a blessing to this organization and to the members. Free weights and fitness exercise elliptical machines on 2nd floor with windows to look down at the large pool on the 1st floor. Nas (or Nasir) answers any/all questions related to lifting weights, exercise and fitness upstairs on the 2nd floor and trains members as well; there are other trainers there too.

I have a family membership with 24 hr access. I love it. Usually 5 or less of us at 5am get my workout done not crowded so it's plenty equipment. Only problem I have is during the morning they don't have childcare for my older kids 7 and 11 because of camp so I can't do a later morning class unless I put my 7 yr old in the baby class which she doesn't mind but there should be care for older kids in the morning like greenbrier and great bridge provides.

Normally like all the staff here but one girl lifeguard takes her job way too seriously. Kicked my toddler out of an empty pool because we came during “adult individual open swim” not “family open swim”. She had me laughing when she said the reason is because adults don’t really like the kids splashing around a lot. But I’m pretty sure every time we go to family open swim the “adult individual swim” is also scheduled at the same time.

Great place. Very friendly, courteous staff who answer all questions and go that extra mile with good customer service. Very clean facility also. They take COVID restrictions seriously and make safety a priority. Cheers and good props and votes to all who work at this YMCA. Very proud.

They offer a scholarship program to assist with cost of membership. Stop by and speak to a member associate and they will be happy to get you the answers and assistance you may need. The Y's also offer a great Active Older Adult programming to include fitness, food and snacks, and crafts and friendship.
