A bit disappointed in recent service. Poor record keeping as they dont keep the overall engine hour services. Changed oil even though it went in for engine light and was only at less than half the hours out of 100 hour recommended interval for service. Was told they reset the "gauge," even though they didnt check the alloted hour addition since the only 4 month elapsed time from the July service. Funny, was also told hours add up quicker than you think as in mechanic had put 36 hours on his boat for two weeks duck hunting ust have done more riding than shooting for thos hours]. I can understand offshore fishing might account for some 8 to 14 hours per day engine hours, but unloading and riding 10minutes or less then trolling ain't adding those kind of hours. Also, fished just as hard the previous two years and barely put 100hours on it each year. Total hours was 243 [20 hour change, 100 hour change, and 200 hour changes previously]. So needless to say still unsure of what is wrong with motor and having engine check light on, I guess I can report back when it comes back on and gets successfully diagnosed. Was told they would love to talk during business hours (feeling like a real valued customer) after they didnt initially answer my questions and referred me to the mechanic of which I called and let them know I talk to mechanic and their very own recommendation. Only after review did they want to talk. Also, the time before this they could not schedule me for service. Said you would have to bring it and we will just have to get to it when we can [not even narrowing it to the day]. Was real smart in answering if I could get it on friday before the weekend, oh yeah "we dont hold your boat hostage." [Not Robin or Randy]. Formally the customer service was highly recommended just a bad recent experience spoils the batch. Not highly recommended. Back to top.

I ordered a Magic Tilt aluminum I Beam pontoon trailer from Precision Marine. I drove 10 hours straight from Ohio to pick up my trailer only to get there and find out they ordered the wrong trailer. I was devastated. They still tried to push the wrong trailer off on me. I was advised that it’s not there fault, that they did not build the trailer, and I would have to talk to the manufacturer. She stated they just sell them. I was shocked by that statement. The staff did not apologize but instead got confrontational with me. As I stood next to the wrong trailer the owner continued to work with other paying customers, I was not a priority. The owner showed her true colors after she was not going to make a commission. My son and I got back in the van and drove 10 hrs back 1400 miles in 20 hrs. The Owner/She never returned any of my phone calls the following week to try and resolve this devastating experience and finally returned my deposit. Never in my life have I had a failed experience of this nature from a retailer of any kind. CUSTOMER BEWARE.
