I’m so grateful for this place! Apart from it being convenient being so close to home, the staff is very friendly and caring. My doctor, Lisa Sanford, and team are SO amazing! I couldn’t ask for a better team! She is so attentive. She is patient and listens, and also takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. She involves me in the decisions for my own care. I love her. Thank you so much!

Since your ex military you should show up 15 minutes early. Beside that point. This VA clinic is great and have a really good support staff for medical needs. Hands down better than Durham. You guys are great. Thank you for taking care of veterans. We need it.

Arrived here at Clayton VA clinic at 330 because I had a couple of general questions. Hours said they were open until 4pm, but door was locked. I knocked, but nothing. I sat here until 4pm. I guess they forgot there open until 4pm, unless I'm missing something.

The support staff is excellent but the clinic physician not so much. He told me that I was too late to my appointment this morning for him to do an exam or bother to check what was actually wrong with me. I have sent hours in the VA waiting to be seen because of over booking or they're just running slow. And I get I was late by 10 minutes but I still had to wait 20 minutes to be seen even though the staff took me straightback. So was I really late or did he just not want to provide the services he was supposed to provide on 1/27 via a "video call" that never happened because they forgot about it.

They will see Veterans assigned to Durham VA Medical Hospital. Very nice staff and Lisa Sanford is an excellent primary care provider.
Not sure, but it would be advisable to call and ask. My dad (also a vet) had gone to the Durham VA while he was here visiting from California and was able to refill meds. Hope that helps.
