Is there anyone who wants a Shepherd? He is 1 yr and 5 months. He is neutered, knows basic commands, and crate trained. I will provide leash, collar, and crate. He is on heartworm prevention which I will provide the next two months.

This is Robeson County Humane Society. No clue who Wesley Velazquez but we do not have "free" dogs. All our animals are vetted and available for adoption to an approved applicant.
I see they're currently only open 4 hours a day. Are the animals alone in their pens 20 hours a day? This makes me really sad to think of...

Is it allowed to keep a dog on a chain in an open field with only a shabby old dog house for shelter when it’s over 90 degree outside and or stormy rainy weather?
This poor dog is on a chain 24/7 with no shade!! I feel so bad and sad for this poor

I wouldn't look for a purebred in an animal shelter. These are re-homed or sold due to the cost of such dogs.
